What happens to a report
Your report is recorded and queued for review by vyBeam's moderators. You do not need an account to file one, and the person who posted the video is not told who reported it. When you submit, you are returned to the video you were watching.
Choosing a reason
- Spam or misleading — bulk or repetitive uploads, or a title and thumbnail that do not describe what the video actually shows.
- Harassment or hate — content that targets a person or a group.
- Violence — graphic violence, or content that encourages it.
- Sexual content — sexual material, and anything involving a minor, which is removed and reported to the authorities.
- Copyright infringement — someone else's work posted without permission. If you are the rights holder, the DMCA process is the stronger route: vyBeam has a designated agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, and repeat infringers' accounts are terminated.
- Other — anything the list above does not cover. Use the details box; a report that explains the problem is acted on faster than one that does not.
Reports are rate limited to keep the queue usable. Filing many reports in a short period will ask you to wait before filing more. See the terms for what is and is not allowed on vyBeam.
